A pleasent morning in the "Bhoomigeetha" valley...

Prof. M.H.Krishnayya (holding the hand-bag), myself (in the left) & my wife K.Shailakumari.
Prof. M.H. Krishnayya, President of Karnataka Sahithya Academy, Bangalore, recently visited my house with the shooting team to record my poetry recitation (in Kannada) to up-load the same into the website of Karnataka Sahithya Academy.  The programme was recorded along with my family members at 'Bhoomigeetha'.  The programme is linked in the blog.

Another view of my house "Bhoomigeetha".  From the terrace of my house one can see all the mode of transportation, i.e., Road, Rail, Air and Water. As the Mangalore international airport is just in front of the house, both landing and taking-off  and even the parking of the airbuses can be seen from a distance. Since the Sea and 'Phalguni' river is very near, both the Ships and boats can also be seen.  Passing through the Konkan train in the beautiful landscape nearby is yet another fascinating scene.  The shooting was done in the Garden, where varieties of plants are put.
