RELEASING A BOOK

"Olavondu Lalithakale" collection of poetry is being released by the guests.

Today I have participated in a book releasing function  as chief guest at Shri Kalikamba Vinayaka Temple, Mangalore. The book was a collection of poems in Kannada, titled “Olavondu Lalithakale”, by Shri Yashodhara N.Acharya, Mundkur. The function was graced by Shri Shri Kalahasthendra Saraswathi Swamiji of Anegondi Mutt, Katapady,Udupi and chaired by Shri K.Keshava Acharya, Mangalore. Publisher Shri K.Bhuvanabhirama Udupa of Kinnigoli was also present.

I am addressing the gathering.

“There are different kinds of expressions. Carpentry, sports activity, setting-up of a business industry, a painting all these are different kinds of expressions of Mankind. We cannot predict in which field one’s ability is being expressed. One who expresses according to his ability and available resources. Then the role of encouragement of the society comes. In the selected field how He achieves is according to His will-power and ability” I said, and  continued “ Shri Yashodhara N.Acharya gave expression to the love feelings in the back-ground of rich village life. The poems are nothing but expressions of different kinds of experience in the back-drop of village life”.

Poet Shri Yashodhara N. Acharya has recited a poem from the collection. Shri Swamiji has Graced the poet.
